A photo story whale watching off the west coast of Scotland. Floating between the incredible mountains of Torridon and the Isle of Skye, encountering Minke whales, common dolphin and all manner of seabirds. There may be no more dramatic way to find the wonderful animals that make the northern seas their home.
An early start to beat the Spanish Summer Sun and explore the fascinating limestone landscape of El Torcal. We were treated to close up sightings of Ibex and a quiet walk through this mazed of limestone stacks.

I love being able to walk straight from home and within an hour be right in the midst of the Peak District. On this baking hot June day I decided to attempt my longest ever walk and cover some 45+km to cover all my favourite Peak District places including Stanage Edge, Win Hill, Kinder, Lose Hill and any pub in Castleton. Along the way the walking never seemed too much trouble, the heat however was a problem and caused a slight change in route to replenish water bottles.
