The Arts Tower, SheffieldThe Arts Tower is one of Sheffield's most iconic buildings and can be seen from most areas of the city. Part of the University complex it's a building which has dominated my memory of Sheffield. From time spent studying nearby or within the building itself, to time spent sitting in traffic peering up at it from afar. Winning image in the 2014 Landscape Photographer of the Year competition - Urban View Category
Bringing Home the ShoppingA snicket, alley etc in Sheffield. Covered in leaves and drama.
Sheffield HorizonA chimney far in the distance overlooking the city of Sheffield.
BandstandThis photo seems to have a vintage feel to me. The photo itself doesn't generate that feeling, the principle of having fun in the park and in the snow may well be timeless.
Alone on the BridgeSometimes you have to follow the tracks. The great benefits of a powerful point and shoot, taken whilst driving my car to work. One of those scenes the eye is drawn to and you would be frustrated to miss. Inverted in some ways in that the eye should be drawn tot he darker part of the image. Recropping of one of my favourites from 2012 Park Square, Sheffield
The Longest EdgeI visit Stanage Edge quite often but have always struggled to get images which convey the length of this millstone grit edge as it snakes it's way above Hathersage. This is my best attempt yet and was a quick capture as I saw the clouds casting long moving contrasts across the moorland adding depth to the image.
Shimmering SunlightThe alleyways and tracks of Lady Cannings Plantation near to Sheffield, lit up by the early autumn light.
Arts Tower in SnowA stunning winter coating of snow blankets the trees of Weston Park with the ever visable Arts Tower in the background.
Treasure Trail (3:2)An exploration in Wyming Brook is always like finding treasure. It has so much to offer in all seasons to those who look closely.
Autumn in WinterA blanket of snow covers Fox Hagg nature reserve in Sheffield but on tree still clinging to it's orange leaves seems to have shaken off most of the falling snow. I noticed when processing this image if you look closely at the leaves of the tree in the centre you can the snow cascade down a little.
City Park in SnowWeston Park, Sheffield. The Arts Tower, children, snow & water foul.
Forest of FireDancing trees in the woodland around Wyming Brook, Sheffield
InkyI'm not sure it's the snow I enjoy the most, it's the uncontrollable reaction in the body language of the people going about their business.
House with a Painted ViewA photo taken from a vantage point of somebody's driveway. YEs somebody in Sheffield lives in a house with this spectacular view everyday. Given it's posisition it will see the sunrise nearly all year round the view stretches for miles towards the city and Peak District. If anyone would like to purchase this house for me to live in I could repay you with thousands of photos as no doubt evey morning paints a different view.

Little LeavesWyming Brook in Sheffield is a spectacular place at autumn which i don't visit enough.
No PhotosThe PIgeon. Trying to block my view of the Arts Tower, or trying to bully me into giving him food either way he has plenty of friends to back him up waiting in the trees.

ClumpsSomething feels good about this image. I enjoy the clumping of the snow on the outdoors plant displays, but I also enjoy the view in the window of the restaurant and the brick surround. Oh and the yellow umbrella.

SavilleA little dabble into the urban world. One tree is red, one if leaf less, the tarmac is red. The texture of the fence is interesting, the lines are parrallel.
