I love being able to walk straight from home and within an hour be right in the midst of the Peak District. On this baking hot June day I decided to attempt my longest ever walk and cover some 45+km to cover all my favourite Peak District places including Stanage Edge, Win Hill, Kinder, Lose Hill and any pub in Castleton. Along the way the walking never seemed too much trouble, the heat however was a problem and caused a slight change in route to replenish water bottles.
A first outing with the Fuji GFX 50S medium format mirrorless digital camera. I decided I wanted to slow my photography down and produce higher quality prints. This is me getting to grips with the camera and testing how it works for the way I shoot.
