I am delighted to say that the above photograph 'Guard of Honour' has been shortlisted in the 2017 British Photography Awards (Landscape Category).
The image made a final selection of only 13 landscape photographs from entries across the UK. Guard of Honour was taken at Bole Hill Quarry in the Peak District, a location close to home. As ever it's great to be able to create images of local landscapes which resonate with the judges of such photography competitions.
Guard of Honour is available to purchase a print by following this link to my Print Store.
Thank you for your support.
A classic autumnal colour palette decorates the woodland deep in the ground of Bole Hill Quarry. This place has seen many changes over time but nature doesn’t stand still here.
