I enjoy the whole process of preparing for craft fairs. It gives a motivation to put effort into the printing and product side of my photography. It is still a little stressful however pulling everything together in time.
When you spend time going through prints and ordering recent prints it often shines a new light on certain images you have overlooked.
Cutler's Hall in Sheffield was a grand location to hold Etsy Made Local in 2017.
The Danscape 2018 Calendars were a real hit this year and I sold out by mid way through the second day.
It's great to talk to people about the locations they are familiar with from prints. While most of the talk was of the local landscapes and walks, I chatted to someone familiar with the West Coast of Ireland, plenty of people who knew locations in Iceland and lots of love for Scotland.
All in all a really enjoyable weekend, meeting plenty of new faces among the 5000 odd people that visited.
Many thanks of the organisers of the fair who put in many months worth of work to make it a success.
