The Lake District
Lake District creative landscape photograph by Dan Cook.
The Lake District feels like home to me and to many other visitors. The beautiful valleys seem familiar and warming to the heart. The mountains tell tales which connect to my sense of enjoyment in the outdoors. The lakes are so picturesque they seem to have been made for visitors to stop and stare in awe.
View from Cat Bells towards Grisedale Pike overlooking the rolling hills around Newlands Valley. This landscape always feels like home.

The names given to this landscape are unknown to me.
Pleasantly lost in one's own thoughts in the woodland around Derwent Water.
The rare place without paths. How do we get to the sky ?
