A stunning May sunrise in the Lake District from High Close across to the south west.
A tree battles against the winds of The Beast From The East in the open land around Lodge Moor, Sheffield.
Deep in the valley as the mist swirls, Mam Farm awakens among the trees.
The hills playing a game of tussle with the swirling mist. This reminds me of the gentle washing of a shallow river bank or shore.
Frozen in a seemingly perpetual slide, the weathered rocks standing proud at Higger Tor.
A snow covered woodland scene from above Wyming Brook, Sheffield.
Layers upon layers upon cracks upon folds among waves.
Subtle signs of colour cling to the coastal rocks in places as the white swell of the seas rises up.
Floating far out in the hues of sunset as seen from the western edge of Ireland.
Across Loch Coulin towards the Coulin Estate with the dominating mass of Beinn Eighe behind.
A dream like cottage setting at Kilmaluag Bay to the north east of the Isle of Skye.
A meadring drive around the northern tip of the Isle of Skye and finding these beautiful gems of villages and bays. Balmaqueen Baile Mac Cuithein.
The sharp rocky face of Bla Bheinn on the Isle of Skye is the backdrop for this inquisitive sheep. This was taken on my first visit along this winding road towards Elgol with it's stunning views back towards the cullin mountains of Skye. A journey not to be forgotten.
These cloudy summer days are always beautiful out in the countryside. The shifting light creates beautiful depth to the landscape and gives new opportunities to photos at various opportunities.
The stunning and calming sight of a gently meandering cart lane. Winding it's way through the fields of the White Peak near Foolow & Eyam.
Always go back. No place deserves to be overlooked based on a single visit. The first time I ventured here the wind was knocking folk over and the rain poured down. Next time around it was beautiful clear skies with snow on the ground. A third time and the sky came alive.
