Testing and experimenting with the Sony RX1R Mark II with some close up floral photography at Sheffield Botanical Gardens. I’ve long been a fan of the Fuji X100 series as an ideal camera to explore new places. Compact and versatile you can capture the scenery and the close up details. Now I decided to try out another 35mm equivalent option in the Sony RX1R Mk 2 with it’s 45mp sensor and apparently incredible 35mm lens. So far I have to say I’m not disappointed, it’s not as user friendly as the Fuji but the image quality is breathtaking, the detail available certainly makes it a special option for these kinds of close up details.
